Welcome to Charlie's Woodcraft! I make hand turned burl bowls, vases, rolling pins, serving trays, bottle stoppers, pencil holders and other redwood gifts! Each piece is uniquely handcrafted from redwood, maple or madrone burl and finished with either a smooth lacquered finish or a food safe beeswax finish. My natural edge bowls are unique, widely popular and very rare.

I don't cut down trees to make my rolling pins, turned bowls and other items, mostly all my wood comes from stumps that were left over years ago when the logging was heavy in our area. Since the 1970's, 90-95% of the old growth redwood trees have been protected on State and Federal lands, for future generations to enjoy.

I've been making redwood gifts for over 35 years and have sold over 10,000 pieces worldwide. That's a lot of bowls, rolling pins, and other redwood gifts!
